#Projectcare

Atlanta, Georgia

This Holiday season, Legacy partnered with The Sport Sorority on #ProjectCare, an initiative benefitting StandUp For Kids Atlanta. Through #ProjectCare, Legacy and The Sport Sorority raised over $1,000 through GoFundMe, social media, and StandUp For Kids’ website. In addition to monetary donations, the Georgia World Congress Center Authority and Trader Joe’s made in-kind donations to create care packages containing snacks, sweatshirts, hygiene kits, and other necessities for local homeless and foster youth in Atlanta.

The founders of Legacy Philanthropy and The Sport Sorority both have a passion for helping youth and wanted to give back this season to those who needed it most. The Founder of The Sport Sorority, LeShonda Martin stated, “On behalf of The Sport Sorority, we are honored to partner with Legacy Philanthropy on the Project Care initiative benefitting StandUp For Kids-Atlanta. At The Sport Sorority, our purpose is to empower women in our industry for growth, a mission that aligns with StandUp for Kids mission to empower homeless and at-risk youth toward lifelong personal growth. We want to thank SUFK Atlanta for their dedication to the kids of our community and we are thankful to be able to lend a helping hand during this time.”
